Meet the Founder
Lilah Brand MS, PT
Since the 1990’s and working across various clinical healthcare environments, I understand how even highly skilled international physicians can encounter subtle communication friction when practicing in a second language – particularly in settings where precision, authority, and patient trust are essential.
I earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at New York Medical College, and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Purchase. I went on to have hands-on clinical training in hospitals, private practices, home health settings, and rehabilitation centers. As a founder, manager, and corporate executive of several healthcare companies, my skills in interdisciplinary verbal collaboration determined successful coordination with doctors, surgeons, nursing directors, and healthcare teams.
More recently, my training in “Teaching English as a Foreign Language” completes the circle of professional skills required to impart my extensive medical background to the newer generation of international healthcare providers.
Precision Clinical Communication is a carefully developed method of helping international physicians to strengthen clarity, authority, and confidence in clinical interactions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional presentations.
This work also supports healthcare systems by reducing communication-related risk and improving interdisciplinary effectiveness for globally trained medical professionals.
Precision Clinical Communication is informed by decades of experience within healthcare environments and extensive collaboration with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary clinical teams. This background allows coaching to focus on the real communication dynamics physicians encounter in clinical practice.
